Job Opening: Media Services Consultant (MSC)
Unicorn Media is currently looking for a Media Services Consultant (MSC). The MSC's primary responsibility is drive sales for Unicorn Media solutions via telephone. This person will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to proposal composition and deal closing…this person will do it all. Attention to detail and ability to utilize Salesforce.com (SFDC) to log and manage ALL sales activities are also key attributes for this position. This person will report to the Manager of Inside Sales, and work in close coordination with the strategic alliance, marketing and sales management teams.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed assigned quota.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline and use SFDC to record all activities.
- Conduct new customer calls and emails on a monthly basis in support of generating and closing new sales opportunities.
- Ability to maintain an average of 50 customer/prospect calls per day.
- Participate in company sales and marketing events.
- Keep up with industry trends and best practices.
- Work with other members of the Unicorn team to foster an environment of "coopertition" or cooperation within a competitive environment.
- Provide consistent, timely and accurate forecasts within SFDC.
Requirements
- BA/BS in relevant field required.
- Proven successful track record within a sales environment.
- Confidence in ability to make new sales calls or e-mails to develop leads.
- Demonstrable track record of sales success for the past 3-5 years.
- Fluency in the use of SFDC for opportunity tracking.
- Knowledge and ability to sell into a variety of corporate structures from large, Global 2000 enterprises to emerging Web 2.0 start-ups.
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills.
- Process-oriented and a natural attention to detail.
