Unicorn Media Names Former Move Networks Exec
Industry veteran to help launch expanded media services
Unicorn Media, Inc., a recognized leader in Media-as-a-Service solutions, this week named David Rice, former Move Networks executive, as Chief Strategy Officer as part of an aggressive effort to continue its worldwide expansion.

An industry veteran with over a decade in the media-delivery arena, Rice will develop and implement the overall strategy of the company including corporate development, partnerships, and sales and marketing programs, as well as help the company expand its presence outside the U.S.

Prior to joining Unicorn, Rice was Vice President of Business Development at Move Networks, an Internet Television services provider, where he had also served as Vice President of Marketing as well as Media and Entertainment Sales. He also acted as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Limelight Networks, a leading content delivery network, playing an integral role in establishing the company as a leading provider of services to media and entertainment organizations. Rice was also a National Sales Manager at Akamai Technologies where he helped to significantly increase revenue through partnerships in the early years of the company.

"I am thrilled to join the Unicorn Media team. I am convinced that this is the right technology set combined with a proven executive team whose track record of building successful companies speaks for itself", says David Rice, Chief Strategy Officer at Unicorn Media.

According to Bill Rinehart, Founder and CEO of Unicorn Media, Inc., "We couldn't be happier to bring David on board as Chief Strategy Officer. His past success and industry knowledge make him a valuable asset and great addition to the team."

Founded by Rinehart in 2007, Unicorn Media delivers a comprehensive suite of services to upload, manage, syndicate, analyze and monetize media content... to any internet-connected device.

Rinehart and Rice's success together began at Limelight Networks, the largest media streaming company in the world. As Founder and CEO, Rinehart led a $130 million private investment from Goldman Sachs, which was followed by a successful IPO. Limelight Networks counted Microsoft, Facebook, YouTube and many other name brands among its customers for mission-critical video content streaming.
